Class News Update:

City Councillor Ms. Wong-Tam will be visiting Room 16 to answer YOUR questions on Monday November 7th. Please start brainstorming questions that you may have regarding politics, local government (municipal), the electoral process, leadership etc. You may even post some of your questions on this blog!

Developing 'Rich' Questions: Success Criteria

1. use the Q-Chart (see side panel)

2. develop questions that can produce multiple responses (open-ended question)

3. select subject-related vocabulary and terminology to be used in questions (i.e. Grade 5 -citizenship, government, rights, responsibilities, democracy, municipal, provincial, federal; Grade 4 - regions, provinces, territories)

4. produce a variety of questions
